Key Approach:
  • Launching ads for an OnlyFans trial link this lowers the barrier to entry, which is crucial for a cold audience.
  • Creating ad creatives with eye-catching visuals that align with NSFW themes but comply with advertising policies.
  • Welcome script in Direct: after subscribing, each user received a message from the model with a greeting, bonus content, and an invitation to chat.
  • Active engagement by the model herself: she messaged subscribers, stimulated interest in paid subscriptions, and sent out newsletters with personalized offers.
  • Part of the budget was allocated to testing hypotheses with paid links, but the main focus was on the trial.
We used several traffic sources, such as Facebook ads and adult websites.
Results
During a 2-week test period with a $524 Facebook ad budget, we achieved the following results:
  • Profile visits: 3,808
  • Trial subscribers: 92
  • Cost per trial subscription: ~$5.70
  • Paying subscribers at the time of testing: 9
  • Paying subscribers after the “warm-up” period (2-6 weeks later): 22
  • Average cost of a paid subscription (long-term): ~$23.8
Additional notes:
Half of the budget was spent on attracting trial subscribers, and the other half on testing direct promotion of paid subscriptions. The model with a trial period and a “warm-up” period showed the best results.

During a 1-month test period with a budget of $1,480 on adult websites, we achieved the following results:
  • Profile views: 9,522
  • Trial subscribers: 184
  • Cost per trial subscription: ~$8.00
  • Paying subscribers at the time of the test: 16
  • Paying subscribers after the “warm-up” period (2-6 weeks later): 54
  • Average cost per paying subscription (long-term): ~$27.4

The entire budget was allocated to attracting users to trial subscriptions.

  • Trial subscribers: 276
